This shoot made me so happy this past Monday... I do have to say sometimes I am really creative :). Malin gave me such good ideas and was willing to do any of them...which I love! I think she is super cool and is such a down to earth Austin girl...who is moving off to Boston pretty soon. Texas will miss you my dear.
Anywho, with that being said, here are a couple of images from her shoot around downtown Austin. Oh ya, and props to her momma who was there to wipe the sweat of her daughter's brow and fix her hair when needed....now that's a loving MOM :)
I have been dying to shoot on this wall...I pass by it all the time on 35 and who would ever know it was a lingerie store :)...except for you now.
Another idea I've been wanting to do is the whole "packing your luggage, hitting the road for collage" vibe and after talking to Malin about what she was looking for we just knew it was a perfect fit.
The coolest coffee shop on the lake...how perfect is that?

Poppy & Wes cont..., Austin Engagement Photographer
Here they are folks...I swear these were the hardest images for me to choose from because
A) they don't take a bad picture
B) Poppy is one of my best friends so the pressure is on and
C) there were quite a few images to sort through :)
But, in the end I love each one of these and I'm so glad we decided to wait another day to venture out and get these pictures! The places they took me were such unique locations who could resist. I Love you guys!
We had the coolest time on Poppy's dad's two seater bicycle...I love it when clients bring me new ideas...so fun! Click on the image to view larger.
I've been dying to take pictures on a hammock and they rocked it! This sequence totally shows off their lovable attitudes!
Hahaha, I haven't laughed this hard in my life...so I ask both of them to sit legs together and just straight on no smile to give me that back in the olden days vibe....little did I know what was about to come...poor Wes just kept sitting there with his legs spread out like a guy would...me being a girl is finally like, "um excuse me but put your legs together"...and like a good fiance he does it...for a split second and this is the aftermath...my shot! Wes you're a trooper, thanks for reminding me the difference between boys and girls.
And who could forget the stars of the day...Railey and Sophie!!!!
I did want to throw a Shout Out about Wes's custom made boots...you ain't a Texan without cowboy boots ya'll! Love em!
I can't wait till the reception...a whole lotta boot scootin! This will be my first wedding this year to just be able to attend...well even better, as a bridemaid, but of coarse I will keep the camera close by.

Tellez Twins, Austin Child Photogrpaher
Being a twin myself, other twins have a special place in my heart...I mean how cool is it that someone else looks like you? :). I had the privilege of photographing these twins a while back and got to do one of my Mother's Day sessions with the whole family a couple of weeks ago...including grandparents.
We went downtown in Dallas at the Art Museum Sculpture Garden for a short mini session and I for one had a blast. Thanks so much Tellez family.

Rain Rain Go Away...(Austin Engagement Photographer)
DAY 1:
I have to start off by saying that even though today didn't go as planned my happy couple made the most of it and looked gorgeous in the rain and wind :). I had the pleasure of shooting my bestest friend Poppy and her fiance Wes for their engagement pictures today out at the Lake Travis. Her maid of honor's family has a lakehouse out there and it's absolutely gorgeous...so tomorrow when we give it another shot you might be able to see just how beautiful it is.
I don't know if I've told ya'll this lately but I am so lucky to have the most gorgeous clients...for real, I love this job. Anywho, I just wanted to post a little teaser from today's short session so get ready for tomorrow Poppy!
Hiding in the garage as it starts to pour right when we get out there...haha.
Very GQ Wesley!

Bride with a pistol, Twinty Bridals
HOTNESS ALERT:
I am soooo excited to finally post these pictures. Jennifer was by far my most creative bride to take bridal portraits and man did they turn out great if I say so myself. Isn't a bride with a gun every man's fantasy...or nightmare? :)haha.
Anywho, here they are.
I'm very excited about my large prints. She ordered a 16x20 for the reception and I think it turned out just gorgeous....image on right from reception.
This is my favorite picture just because it reminds me of our hometown Midland at the Moon Tower...shout out!

Kelderman Wedding, Austin Wedding Photographer
The bride was beautiful, the groom was happy, the weather was perfect and they said I Do! What more could we ask for?
I had the pleasure of photographing Jennifer and Matt's wedding this past Saturday at the Hilton DFW Lakes Hotel in Grapevine, TX. I just LOVE outdoor weddings. Jennifer and I went to highschool together and she's just as gorgeous as ever.
They are such a fun couple and it definitely shows in their pictures. Thanks guys for letting me be a part of your day!

Ooooh, I just loved her flowers...they were absolutely gorgeous! They were done by Judy Johnson with Village Garden Gallery in Dallas.
So the coolest part about this wedding, I thought, was how she had her father and her stepdad walk her down the aisle. What a special moment to share with both of them. And who can beat Matt's initial reaction when he first saw Jennifer...then the emotion set in :)
Since Matt is a wee bit taller than Jenn he's always bending down to kiss her, so when it was time, he plopped down on a knee so his 5ft bride could give him a big smooch. Looks like it worked!
How fierce does this wedding party look? I think this is my favorite picture...all we needed were cigars to add to the ambiance.
Check out the mariachi band at the reception...very cool. Her stepdad, Jay Zertuche, also was the entertainment for the night and performed with his band called "Brother Z". Such a talented family.
Oh and notice my photo business cards image below on the top right) I made for her reception...please send me an email if you're interested in purchasing any with your wedding packages.

Stein Wedding Cont., Twinty Wedding Photography
Here they are folks...
I just loved this view of Jill and her dad...so similar with such sweetness.
I've decided that EVERY wedding should have a party bus.... people's true personalities come out and I Love it :)
Had a little trouble getting it started and even though the bar was literally 2 blocks down we were determined to get this sucker up and running...little did we know all we had to do was shut the side door :) haha.

Jill & Jonas Wedding, Nashville, IL
WOW, where do I begin with this wedding... lets start by saying how much FUN I had working with this couple. Not only did they fly me up for some killer engagement sessions in the corn fields, I got to come back for their wedding last Saturday and meet the rest of the town.
Now don't be confused, Nashville, IL is not the same as Tennessee...it's so much prettier :)
After our luggage fiasco we did some boudior pics for the bride-to-be to give as a suprise to her hubby-to-be the night before... I can tell you this, we walked away vowing to do as many lunges as we need to so we can get some legs like this girl has on her :).
The wedding day was one of the longest I've been to but strangely it went by so fast because "time flies when you're having fun". It's normal for the bridal party to hit the local pub in town in between the ceremony and reception since they have a couple of hours to kill...but I dragged them to this gorgeous place Jill found and made them put their glamour faces on for some very CHIC pics.
Since it's late I'm only posting 2 collages...but give me another day or so and I'm putting these babies up because I know Mrs. Stein is dying to see them and I can't wait to show them off....in the meantime these two will have to do :)
