Austin Lifestlye Photography: The Faulkenberrys

I had the privilege to do a session with an old soccer buddie from highschool and her ever so handsome husband, Staff Sargeant John Faulkenberry. They drove in from San Antonio and we made our way through some of Austin's downtown locations. This couple is amazing and their strength and love for one anther is one to witness. Thanks you guys! You were oh so fabulous of coarse!
Gotta love random railroads in the middle of downtown.

I had been dying to take some photos on this wall downtown...it's super chic!

Miss Camille...Senior 09

Man, we couldn't have asked for better weather this past Easter Sunday...so I met up with Camille and her mom who showed me the ins and outs of places to take pictures in Austin. We started at the Four Seasons where anywhere on the grounds was good for pictures. I felt like climbing into their hammocks on the back lawn and taking a little siesta.

Then off to the Capitol we went for some fun laid back senior portraits. They were such a great little team, her mom even carried my bags...ha! So thanks again for being my designated assistant for the day and thanks for all the location tips :)

My man is 30

This past Friday we celebrated my fiance's 30th birthday party...he's the most handsome and youngest looking 30 year old I know :). This year we had a family dinner at his parents, which was oh so delicious, then headed off to Speakeasy's where we got a table and bottle service on the terrace to see if he could hang like he could when he was 29 :). Gotta go all out when you turn the big 3-0. It was a successful evening and everyone had a great time.

Katy and Warrenton trip

Well this weekend went fast and furious. We went to Warrenton to do some shopping for mom's birthday and found this awesome vintage 6ft tall birdcage we're looking to use for a shoot idea. Very excited! Check out the shirts we made for mom's b-day...and so we could find each other easily :)

I also had a family session with a family in Katy, TX. The mom I've known since I was a wee toddler and her kids were so much fun. Miss Lauren models for an agency (if you can't tell by her pictures below) and was so spunky and such a great big Sis. No wonder her younger sister wants to be just like her. As for the boy, you gotta love 2 year old boys. They have such an adventurous look on life :) Thanks so much you guys!

Also, trying out new watermark logos...let me know whatcha think.

Seniors, Bridals, Engagements Oh My...

So this week has been very hectic and I'm sorry for the late posting but I had some amazing shoots this past weekend in Dallas, TX. I was so exhausted afterwards but it was totally worth it! Guess that comes with getting older :)

It started off Saturday.....COLD and WINDY in Ft Worth meeting up with Lisa for her bridal session. Needless to say we took it inside for a bit at the Renaissance Hotel. They had the coolest coffee bar area that we utilized with their lush blue and red couches and this rockin fireball chandelier. She looked Stunning! So thanks to the Renaissance hotel for giving us a break from the Texas Weather. I wish I could show you a teaser but you'll just have to wait until the wedding in June.

Then came her engagement session with her super sweet fiance Jordan. This couple is so nice and adorable together that it gets me pumped for the wedding day in Midland, TX (my hometown). They were serious troopers braving the wind at the Stockyards with Lisa's cute spring dresses you couldn't even tell it was 40 degrees outside. Thanks you guys! You rocked the Lens!

Sunday-1 Year Old

We started off by driving up to Allen, TX to one of my favorite clients...The Colemans. It was Miss B's 1 year old pics and of coarse we threw in some with big sister Kali. Miss B's brown dress has been worn by all the female grandchildren so I was honored to get to take her pics in this infamous dress. Poor Mr Coleman has his hands full with a house full of beautiful girls.

SENIOR-Kristin

I just love seniors and this girl has the camera wrapped around her finger. We went to the Arboretum and it was gorgeous weather. They were so funny, her two younger sisters would mimic all of her poses after we'd shoot somewhere and have their dad take pictures of them...so they got their own personal photoshoot as well...haha. Ya'll cracked me up! Thanks for making me laugh Bartlett family.

Senior-Maddie

This senior is full of life and happiness and we could all use more people like her in this world. Her shoot was so fun because she would just giggle and laugh when I told her not to smile....love it! Thanks for working Deep Ellum girl!

Last but not least was Miss J's Bridals...wish I could show you this girl's shoot...by far the most creative I have done... lets just say weapons, motorcycles and one hot bride should be illegal due to the HOTNESS of this shoot. :). Can't wait to show you the pics once her and Matt's wedding rolls around in May.
