Poppy & Wes cont..., Austin Engagement Photographer

Here they are folks...I swear these were the hardest images for me to choose from because
A) they don't take a bad picture
B) Poppy is one of my best friends so the pressure is on and
C) there were quite a few images to sort through :)

But, in the end I love each one of these and I'm so glad we decided to wait another day to venture out and get these pictures! The places they took me were such unique locations who could resist. I Love you guys!

We had the coolest time on Poppy's dad's two seater bicycle...I love it when clients bring me new ideas...so fun! Click on the image to view larger.

I've been dying to take pictures on a hammock and they rocked it! This sequence totally shows off their lovable attitudes!
Hahaha, I haven't laughed this hard in my life...so I ask both of them to sit legs together and just straight on no smile to give me that back in the olden days vibe....little did I know what was about to come...poor Wes just kept sitting there with his legs spread out like a guy would...me being a girl is finally like, "um excuse me but put your legs together"...and like a good fiance he does it...for a split second and this is the aftermath...my shot! Wes you're a trooper, thanks for reminding me the difference between boys and girls.

And who could forget the stars of the day...Railey and Sophie!!!!

I did want to throw a Shout Out about Wes's custom made boots...you ain't a Texan without cowboy boots ya'll! Love em!

I can't wait till the reception...a whole lotta boot scootin! This will be my first wedding this year to just be able to attend...well even better, as a bridemaid, but of coarse I will keep the camera close by.

Seniors, Bridals, Engagements Oh My...

So this week has been very hectic and I'm sorry for the late posting but I had some amazing shoots this past weekend in Dallas, TX. I was so exhausted afterwards but it was totally worth it! Guess that comes with getting older :)

It started off Saturday.....COLD and WINDY in Ft Worth meeting up with Lisa for her bridal session. Needless to say we took it inside for a bit at the Renaissance Hotel. They had the coolest coffee bar area that we utilized with their lush blue and red couches and this rockin fireball chandelier. She looked Stunning! So thanks to the Renaissance hotel for giving us a break from the Texas Weather. I wish I could show you a teaser but you'll just have to wait until the wedding in June.

Then came her engagement session with her super sweet fiance Jordan. This couple is so nice and adorable together that it gets me pumped for the wedding day in Midland, TX (my hometown). They were serious troopers braving the wind at the Stockyards with Lisa's cute spring dresses you couldn't even tell it was 40 degrees outside. Thanks you guys! You rocked the Lens!

Sunday-1 Year Old

We started off by driving up to Allen, TX to one of my favorite clients...The Colemans. It was Miss B's 1 year old pics and of coarse we threw in some with big sister Kali. Miss B's brown dress has been worn by all the female grandchildren so I was honored to get to take her pics in this infamous dress. Poor Mr Coleman has his hands full with a house full of beautiful girls.

SENIOR-Kristin

I just love seniors and this girl has the camera wrapped around her finger. We went to the Arboretum and it was gorgeous weather. They were so funny, her two younger sisters would mimic all of her poses after we'd shoot somewhere and have their dad take pictures of them...so they got their own personal photoshoot as well...haha. Ya'll cracked me up! Thanks for making me laugh Bartlett family.

Senior-Maddie

This senior is full of life and happiness and we could all use more people like her in this world. Her shoot was so fun because she would just giggle and laugh when I told her not to smile....love it! Thanks for working Deep Ellum girl!

Last but not least was Miss J's Bridals...wish I could show you this girl's shoot...by far the most creative I have done... lets just say weapons, motorcycles and one hot bride should be illegal due to the HOTNESS of this shoot. :). Can't wait to show you the pics once her and Matt's wedding rolls around in May.
