Twin Day in Katy, TX, Austin Family Photographer

This Saturday we had a flashback to when we were 2 years old :) and their names are Abby and Lauren! These fraternal twins have such different personalities and attitudes. The one thing they have in common is they are both ADORABLY CUTE! Their momma had the cutest outfits for them I'm going to have to start using these as ideas for others when people request what to wear. We had so much fun with the family and were so happy to see ya'll again.

The girls love their kisses!
This reminds me SOOOOO much of Amy and I when we use to play dress up. Their personalities suit ours to a "T"...love you girlies!

Father's Day Sessions, Austin Child Photographer

So, I took a little vaca this weekend to the Guadelupe to float the river and had a grand ol' time. It's nice to just shut down the laptop and step away from technology every once in a while. We smored it up, floated the river and soaked up the sun! Perfect weekend with some old Midland buddies.

DAYS (Click on images below to view larger)and NIGHTS (we taught the boys how to get the "skinny arm" look for pics)

However, I'm slacking on my blogging :) so here are a couple of sessions from my Father's Day sessions in Midland a couple of weekends ago. Both families I always LOVE seeing bc the Dortch triplets are close to heart with me being a twin myself, and the Thompson girls are just too much like thier mommy and daddy....such a beautiful family.

Miss Peyton in all smiles! Gotcha cutie!
Daddy's got a house full of beautiful ladies!

They were so cute with each other I had to show the hand holding.

Meet Deacon, Bailee and Aidan. How precious are they?
We met out at the Midland Counry Club and little to my suprise they all had clubs....too precious I tell you.

What a perfect way to end the session with a daddy sandwich...full of kisses!

Seniors, Bridals, Engagements Oh My...

So this week has been very hectic and I'm sorry for the late posting but I had some amazing shoots this past weekend in Dallas, TX. I was so exhausted afterwards but it was totally worth it! Guess that comes with getting older :)

It started off Saturday.....COLD and WINDY in Ft Worth meeting up with Lisa for her bridal session. Needless to say we took it inside for a bit at the Renaissance Hotel. They had the coolest coffee bar area that we utilized with their lush blue and red couches and this rockin fireball chandelier. She looked Stunning! So thanks to the Renaissance hotel for giving us a break from the Texas Weather. I wish I could show you a teaser but you'll just have to wait until the wedding in June.

Then came her engagement session with her super sweet fiance Jordan. This couple is so nice and adorable together that it gets me pumped for the wedding day in Midland, TX (my hometown). They were serious troopers braving the wind at the Stockyards with Lisa's cute spring dresses you couldn't even tell it was 40 degrees outside. Thanks you guys! You rocked the Lens!

Sunday-1 Year Old

We started off by driving up to Allen, TX to one of my favorite clients...The Colemans. It was Miss B's 1 year old pics and of coarse we threw in some with big sister Kali. Miss B's brown dress has been worn by all the female grandchildren so I was honored to get to take her pics in this infamous dress. Poor Mr Coleman has his hands full with a house full of beautiful girls.

SENIOR-Kristin

I just love seniors and this girl has the camera wrapped around her finger. We went to the Arboretum and it was gorgeous weather. They were so funny, her two younger sisters would mimic all of her poses after we'd shoot somewhere and have their dad take pictures of them...so they got their own personal photoshoot as well...haha. Ya'll cracked me up! Thanks for making me laugh Bartlett family.

Senior-Maddie

This senior is full of life and happiness and we could all use more people like her in this world. Her shoot was so fun because she would just giggle and laugh when I told her not to smile....love it! Thanks for working Deep Ellum girl!

Last but not least was Miss J's Bridals...wish I could show you this girl's shoot...by far the most creative I have done... lets just say weapons, motorcycles and one hot bride should be illegal due to the HOTNESS of this shoot. :). Can't wait to show you the pics once her and Matt's wedding rolls around in May.

Starting a blog...lord help me

Alrighty...here it is, I'm going to try my hardest to keep this updated with photos so this way I don't have to do so on my website.
These past couple of months have been nuts trying to find jobs and make the move to Austin but I can officially say we're here and about to move into our apartment next week...woohoo.
So, back to Photography. If you're in the Austin area and would like Senior pics shoot me an email and I'll give the first Senior who responds a free shoot with your digital negatives. I'm still serving clients in the Dallas/ Ft Worth areas so don't forget about me!
Here are some family pics I got to do of an old clammate of mine and his amazingly beautiful family.

Mr. Jax is the coolest little guy you'll meet with the most beautiful natural red hair... I have a new found love for red-heads :)

These senior pics were so much fun because I got to do some of a couple...mind you I took WAY more pictures of the girl but hey you can only hold a guy's attention span for so long before they get bored being an uber-model :). Presenting the fabulous Miss Lauren! Thank guys!
