Poppy & Wes Wedding, Austin Wedding Photographer

I know I know, I'm so far behind but I'm posting them now and I'm super excited! I didn't get to photograph the wedding since I got the honor to be a bridesmaid but was able to get a couple of shots beforehand while the bride got ready...my favorite pics :)

I LOVE YOU POPPY!

Baby A, Austin newborn Photographer

I know I'm so far behind on blogging but what can I say, business is good. Amy and I have not had a day to ourselves since August it feels like. On the upside we've gotten to take pictures of scrumptious little babies like Addison. If you remember I blogged her mom, Devann's maternity pictures back in June and here she is almost 4 months. :) Get your oohing and ahhhing faces on!

Poth Rehearsal Dinner

Hey blogger family. It's Amy and it's my turn to tell you all about a little shoot I did...my first "solo" gig without April. Now most of the time I will tell you that April and I do EVERYTHING together but there are those few times that we do things on our own. Our friends Poppy and Wes, you all know them to be the oh so fabulous couple we did engagements for and were blogged about by greylikesweddings, were married a couple of weekends ago. April was a bridesmaid and so Poppy asked me to tag along and represent TWINty Photography at the dinner rehearsal. I'm so excited I got to be part of such a special day for them. There were so many cute pics I decided to just make one big collage. I love you guys....drumroll please!!!

Coolest kids on the block...

Amy and I are so proud and grateful to have 3 such wonderful cousins...who are all so different in their attitudes and personalities. Ana, our rockstar 8 yr old cousin is a spitting image of what our triplet would be like if we had one :). She's so good to her younger brothers and is the sweetest and most loving girl a family or friend could ask for. Wyatt, the 4 year old middle brother is all BOY. He loves hunting with daddy and playing with toys and is always on the move...but also has such a loving side as well. Last but not least is Cody, the youngest at 2 years old and is definately at the "Terrible 2" stage...haha. He loves seeing what he can get away with and is so precious when he smiles. He's a spitting image of his daddy. They have the best mommy in the world who, when we were Ana's age and even now, adored and looked up to.

I just wanted to take a moment to blog about my family and those who I love the most. Hopefully I'll get some more opportunities soon so take pictures of all my other wonderful family members...but until then, enjoy the Boatmans! LOVE YOU ALL DEARLY!

Beautiful Bridals, Austin Wedding Photographer

I have been planning and waiting to shoot Courney's bridals for EVER it seems like and the wedding is finally ALMOST here. From a wedding in Corpus, then to Mexico, now back to Corpus I can't wait!

I just adore these pictures. Growing up in Portland, TX we were racking our brains on where to shoot for this session and I didn't know much about Corpus but Portland is a little small with only so many spots for bridals so we ventured into downtown not knowing what to expect but knowing they wanted some pictures in front of this gorgeous cathedral and I wanted sailboats :). It's too funny to see client's reactions sometimes to locations I choose. Not many people would think a rundown wall with trash around is very glamorous but when you look at the overall beauty of a gorgeous bride up against something more urban/grunge I think it makes the beauty pop even more :). Thanks for trusting me you guys because I think you looked STUNNING!

Red Hot alert...Austin Lifestyle Photographer

Over the past couple of weeks we've been super busy with holiday shoots but we've also thrown in a couple of other sessions in the meantime and I'm so glad we did because our friend Sherry couldn't have looked more gorgeous. She is so fun to be around and has piercing green eyes to die for. We walked around down on SOCO and even got kicked out of a hotel..but hey what can you do but just move on the the next location :) Check em out! More to come this week...woohoo
